Areas of Expertise
Grief and Loss
With extensive experience in grief support, including running music-based grief support groups, I deeply understand the complexities of loss. My personal journey through grief, combined with my music therapy background, allows me to provide compassionate and effective support tailored to individual needs.
Anxiety and Depression
Having overcome personal struggles with anxiety and depression, I bring a profound understanding of these challenges to my practice. My music therapy approach is informed by my lived experience and professional training, using music as a therapeutic tool to address emotional and psychological needs. This combination allows me to offer empathetic, effective strategies for managing and alleviating symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Living with Chronic Pain
My background as a physiotherapist working with individuals experiencing chronic pain, along with my expertise in music therapy, uniquely positions me to address both the physical and emotional aspects of chronic pain. I use music therapy to complement traditional treatments, offering a holistic approach that can enhance pain management and improve overall well-being.
Relationship Patterns
My background in both music therapy and physiotherapy gives me a unique perspective on understanding and addressing relationship patterns. I integrate insights from my experiences with personal attachment challenges and my knowledge of psychological frameworks into therapy. This enables me to help individuals explore and transform their relationship dynamics through personalized music-based interventions.
